# postgres_read_only

HTTP 429 · Usage limits (SPEC §3.5)

Postgres used 150% of its compute hours, so it's read-only until the period resets. Buy a compute pack or upgrade to write again.

## Does retrying help?

Yes, after waiting. Send the same request again once the wait in the message has passed (the `Retry-After` header says how long, when there is one).

## Already on the largest plan?

Studio is the largest plan. On Studio, use the message's other options, or email support@flatstack.dev and say what you need more of.
