auth_method_disabled

HTTP 403 · End-user sign-in (SPEC §7)

This sign-in method is turned off for the app. Turn it on in the project’s auth settings.

Does retrying help?

Not until something else changes. The message says what: a plan, an add-on, a setting or a role. The same request then works.
